La mia prima esperienza lavorativa è stata a Siena, dove ho vissuto durante gli anni della mia formazione, laureandomi in Mediazione linguistica e culturale e poi in Didattica dell'italiano a stranieri presso l'Università per Stranieri di Siena. A Siena ho insegnato nel contesto migratorio, dopodiché ho continuato ad insegnare in Germania, lavorando con adulti e bambini, e con studenti universitari in Polonia. Attualmente vivo e lavoro in Germania come insegnante d'italiano per studenti di tutte le età.

My style of teaching is relaxed and informal and my approach is natural and very conversational. I will help you to improve your vocabulary and confidence. I have experience teaching students from all over the world with many different cultural backgrounds and learning styles. I tailor the sessions to your own learning preferences and skill sets. I am a full-time teacher, meaning that my schedule is open throughout the day and students can choose the class times that best suit them. I suit the lesson to the student I have in front, independently from the age, and I try to achieve the goals as soon as desired. Together we're going to select the right tactic, discussing everything you need, and I'm going to teach you the right way! I focus on Grammar, Vocabulary and Pronunciation. How do I work: I let the student speak (not being afraid of doing it) and filling out grammar exercises (to build the grounds of the Italian language!). I give homework (based on the availability of the student) and I correct them, sending the results via attachments. Most of all I never let the student get bored! keeping him/her busy all the time with new things to do!

I am a qualified teacher of Italian for speakers of other languages, with a degree from Siena University. I began teaching in 2009, and I can't stop it. Home and abroad, I like to meet students from all over the world with an interest in my native language, to encourage their development and success.

In November 2017 I obtained the certification "DITALS Level I" which qualifies me to teach Italian as a foreign language or second language to foreign adults (18 years and older) of any nationality and for any level you choose to reach. I attended a 30-hour training course at the Accademia Italiana in Salerno (a Ditals-certified institution) where I did an 82-hour internship in Italian classes for foreigners. Since then I have had many teaching experiences. In addition, with the onset of the pandemic, I did 80 hours of online teaching at a private school of Italian for foreigners to prepare for distance teaching, mainly via Zoom and Skype.

I teach Italian, German, English, Spanish, Russian, French, Dutch, Catalan, Portuguese, Greek, Hindi, Arabic and Esperanto (at different levels). I specialise in multilingual teaching (up to 10 languages in one course) and I am a certified language examiner for English, Italian, Russian, French, German and Spanish. I hold an MA in International Communication, an MA in Didactics, two BAs in Translating and Interpreting and a CELTA (Certification in English Language Teaching to Adults).
