I'm a certified teacher and I keep studying and improving my knowledge and abilities in order to do the best as possible for my students. I consider myself as a helpful, patient, resourceful, and caring person. I teach Italian in other platforms too, such as Preply and AmazingTalker. Most of my students are beginners and Spanish-speakers, but I have students of higher level too and from other countries of Europe and Asia. Most classes fall into the trap of using the same, highly ineffective, traditional teaching methods. Too much lecturing and theory leave students bored and tired. I have found a way to help my students to learn faster, and retain more information easily and quickly. My approach is based on a few fundamentals: listen and repeat, pronunciation, active thinking, spaced repetition. I believe in a flexible approach to language learning.

I am a certified teacher (I obtained the DITALS certification from the University for foreigners of Siena) and I have experience with one-to-one lessons both in presence and online, with adults of many nationalities and with teenagers and children. Before that I studied at the Liceo classico (studying Italian literature, Latin and ancient greek language and literature) and then I studied international law at the university of Milan.

I think that silence is very important too and is not good to force a student to speak when he or she is not completely self-confident. Con questo documento possiamo tenere traccia dei progressi dello studente e possiamo incollare articoli, immagini o slide utili per imparare la lingua. Posso conversare su praticamente qualsiasi cosa e utilizzo la conversazione come metodo informale per spiegare grammatica e concetti.

I'm a very patient teacher. During my elementary school teaching experience, I learned patience and understanding are the keys to success. I love my students to feel comfortable asking questions and sharing their difficulties - I had to learn languages myself, so I know how challenging it can be. My students would probably also say I like having fun while teaching :) I love teaching adults, but also teenagers and children. I do different works based on the student's level and age.

Ho studiato lingue e letterature straniere all'università di Roma,(inglese , francese) e insegnato l 'italiano come madre lingua a Parigi ,in una scuola privata ad adulti e negli USA ho insegnato principalmente privatamente ad adulti.
