In my opinion the best way to learn a language is through speaking it. To improve your German I would let you talk all the time and note feedback in the meantime. If you have some specific wishes I can prepare a more structured session with a specific goal in mind. I'm able to talk about any topic. Should be easy to find a topic that interests you. I'm flexible, i.e. besides language teaching I can work with you on goals you are aiming towards. To name few: preparation for a job interview, negotiations or scenarios in business context.

Während meines Studiums in Russland habe mehrmals Praktika in staatlichen Schulen und in einem Kinderferienlager absolviert. Nebenan habe ich einige Jahre in Sprachschulen und als Privatlehrerin gearbeitet. Ich habe viele Erfahrungen mit verschiedenen Altersgruppen gesammelt. Heute studiere ich an der LMU in München an der Fakultät für Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaften im Studiengang Deutsch als Fremdsprache, um meine Kenntnisse im Lehrbereich weiter zu vertiefen.

As mentioned, I have taught German to elementary school kids and middle aged people. Speaking is the best way to learn a language, so my lessons usually center around having an actual conversation in German, but I will also give you grammar instructions and help you with pronunciation as and when necessary. If you struggle with any particular grammar topic, we can of course also dedicate a whole lesson to that. Generally I'm happy to adapt myself to your needs and preferences. While we talk, I make extensive notes in a google document, I write down new vocabulary with example sentences, grammar instructions, corrections, etc. You'll have access to this document during and after the classes.

While my first travels I finally had a chance to really practice my English, what was (of course) totally different, as compared to being in class, even my English teacher was really good. My confidence in speaking a foreign language as well as my pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary increased incredibly. I lived about four years in India and a big part of my daily life there was to learn and live a language, where even the script isn't the latin one. My journey led me to discover my joy for teaching. As I know a lot about other languages and cultures I love to share my knowledge in a structured and fun way.
