Although I am not a trained teacher, I can nevertheless help you learn German as a native-speaking tutor. Since I studied German studies for a few semesters and in my other study programmes I have also attended courses with didactic and pedagogical contents, this knowledge will definitely be of use to you. Everyone is invited to take part in my classes to improve their existing German language skills in a relaxed atmosphere together with me. Language lessons should be fun to motivate the language learner. * I am not accepting kids as my students * So, please feel free to try out my teaching in a trial lesson, and and when it suits, we can talk about many interesting topics.

I have been teaching on Italki for almost four years now. I can look back on teaching people from dozens of countries around the world. Young, old, children, teenagers, business people, students - people from all kinds of cultures and with unique expectations. Additionally, I had been a student myself on Italki for about another two years before. I have a university degree (Bachelor and Master) in teaching languages and I have been teaching German, English and Spanish for over 5 years to students of different ages. My oldest student was 80 and I think he is a good example that it is never too late to start learning a new language or enhancing your language skills and taking your language learning to the next level. I'm a very patient and empathetic teacher who thinks mistakes are an important part of the learning process and whose goal it is to create a comfortable learning atmosphere for you.

I am currently learning my third language. I really do understand how hard it can be to learn a new language, let alone to master it. I am a very relaxed teacher, I know from experience that the most effective way of learning is by enjoying the process and having fun! I am also pretty flexible when it comes to teaching, depending on your level, need, interest or simply just that mood of that day.

I've been teaching for 25 years. It's something that I've always loved. My students seem to like my classes a lot. I'm dynamic and playful but I'm also dedicated to my students learning something that will provide them with the tools to make their lives better.

I intend to keep my classes entertaining and practical since this is the way to learn the most as I’ve experienced myself. We'll work with interesting texts about a lot of topics and also practice through common conversations. Just studying grammar and doing text book exercises is not the focus of my classes. While teaching children, I like using images and playing games to loosen up the time together and stay concentrated.

Speaking is the best way to learn a language, so my lessons usually center around having an actual conversation in German, but I will also give you grammar instructions and help you with pronunciation as and when necessary. If you struggle with any particular grammar topic, we can of course also dedicate a whole lesson to that. Generally I'm happy to adapt myself to your needs and preferences. While we talk, I make extensive notes in a google document, I write down new vocabulary with example sentences, grammar instructions, corrections, etc. You'll have access to this document during and after the classes.
