Teaching makes me always smile, because I like so much accompanying students improving their German skills.

I have 5 years of experience in teaching from beginners to advanced learners. First I was a classroom teacher in a primary school, but later I found that teaching one-on-one is both, more efficient for students and more interesting for the teacher. I am patient, friendly and reliable. You can book an informal tutoring lesson so I can get to know you better and understand what your strengths and weaknesses are, so I can make a personalized plan for you which fits your needs.

As a teacher I am a huge disciple of learning while speaking and love to give examples of context and situation. A structural approach to learning a new language is key. Grammar and vocabularies are mandatory while often more easily learned by heart through stories and repeated use. It is most important to have a good time and to have fun while learning, as well as keeping my teaching goal oriented towards your needs. I will have to get to know your goals so that we can figure out an individual learning plan for you while I guide you through the different levels of competence.

I am enthusiastic in what I do and love to share little tips here and there that will compliment my students' language learning habits in general, should they be looking for advice. I will find different ways to explain a concept and understand how to energize my lessons through new material. I am very patient and determined to only offer the best to help students reach their goals, whether beginner or advanced. I offer German/English conversation lessons for all levels as well as Italian and Spanish classes for beginner-intermediate levels. Note: While I do like emphasizing conversation, I know that many students will have different preferences and learning styles. Therefore I am flexible!

"German is the hardest language to learn!" "This makes now sense!" You know ... those thoughts we are having when learning German. They are NOT true! I believe that German can be explained and actually be fun as well. I have been told that I explain Grammar and Vocabluary in good ways and animate people to stay motivated. ;) Find out if our chemistry matches in a trail lesson. Please understand that I can't accept more then 4 hours of lessons per day to keep the quality up. Of course I will try to find an other time slot for you, in case you book a day that already reached capacity.

I already have experience teaching students and adults and have a lot of fun to get to know new people from lots of different places and converse with you about your interests, your opinions and your culture while teaching you German. I like to prepare classes individually for my students to keep the motivation going. As well I try to form a positive environment, so you feel comfortable.

I am very structured and motivated helping you. The most important is fun. Therefore my lessons are varied and focused on your interests.

I experienced the benefits of speaking multiple languages myself. For this reason, I would love to help you to learn German. As a good listener, I love to build sustainable relationships with my students because I believe that trust and learning consistency – combined with personal enthusiasm – are essential to make progress when learning a new language. I recommend booking your lessons at least two weeks in advance to ensure you find an available slot for regular classes.

My teaching super power is preparing students for language tests in a smooth and effective way, because my teaching style follows a very focused and intentional approach. I help my students to find their learning type and to develop strategies to reach their individual goal. As I have worked and lived in German-, French-, and English-speaking countries for longer periods of time, I am linguistically flexible and highly skilled. I love to communicate and building a relationship of trust with my students.

I have always enjoyed teaching and sharing knowledge with the people around me, so giving language classes is something that comes quite natural to me. I'm a very patient person and it gives me great satisfaction to see my students progress, each one at their on individual pace. Making students feel at ease is essential for me, especially since we try to speak German as much as possible from the first lesson. I have lots of different materials, pdfs, videos, worksheets and online exercises to facilitate fun and engaging lessons that make your learning journey easy. Language lessons can be fun, but language-learning is certainly time-consuming and occasionally frustrating. As a teacher I would love to help you improve in your conversational skills and as I am fairly young I am also very familiar with slang and youth culture, in case you wish to learn natural German. Of course we can switch to English for explanations. Por supuesto te puedo dar explicaciónes en espagñol quando quieras. Bitte buche nicht sofort ein Stundenpacket, sondern erst eine Probe- oder Einzelstunde, damit wir schauen können, ob es für uns beide passt ;-)

My classes are quite informal and relaxed. So don't worry about making mistakes, that is absolutely normal and part of the journey to learn a new language. I will do my best to make you feel comfortable with speaking German, since trying to speak early on is a great way to improve your German fast.

Teaching since 2016 I specialise in technical and general online language classes mainly for care personnel (nurses). I am highly experienced in using web based document annotation apps, communication and meeting platforms, virtual classrooms and Learning management systems. I hold a TELC examiner license for Deutsch B1-B2 +Pflege which also allows me insight and knowledge of test formats and the CEFR guidelines and level requirements. I can offer both general and intensive German classes from Beginners to advanced levels (up to C1/C2) including all 4 competency levels (Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading) as well as grammar reviews, exam preparation and proofreading.
