I am a qualified and certified online TEFL English teacher. I am also a qualified IELTS teacher (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening). I have been teaching for approximately 1 year and have about 2300 (two thousand three hundred) English lessons behind my name. I believe that I can make a difference in the lives of my students, as I would like to grow alongside them and encourage them in succeeding in their educational journey. I think my purpose in this world is to teach. Languages are one of the channels to increase global knowledge and to contribute to a better world. I’ve been teaching German, French and English in different countries in different contexts, in private lessons, at University and in a language school. Now I am happily teaching online on italki.

I have always loved languages and have learnt them from an early age as a child. This was my main motivation to become a teacher over 15 years ago. Apart from teaching I have also spent time contracting to a language school based at one of the universities in Auckland to develop teaching materials for new teachers to help them on their teacher training journey. I am currently completing my Masters of Education which I believe will enhance my knowledge about education in general and also my teaching practice.

Since having a much lighter schedule, I have been able to focus more on a student's individual needs in the classroom and the effort that goes into producing lessons rich in content. Whilst being experienced teaching to all proficiency levels, I'm particularly accomplished within the field of phonics and phonetics, ensuring correct pronunciation of the language, leading to a much greater sense of accuracy and fluid understanding during conversational situations.
