I have been conversing with English language learners at my school both as volunteer and as a part time job for about a year now. I have been teaching basic English and Mathematics to underprivileged kids in India. Being a daughter of two teachers, I have always had this inclination towards teaching all my life. Although I've been using three languages since I was a kid, I didn't realize how difficult it is to learn a language until I decided to start learning Spanish as an adult. Learning a language as an adult made me a better teacher, someone who can truly understand my students' challenges and frustrations.
