I would describe my teaching style as very interactive. I prefer to create a teaching environment that encourages critical thinking and elicits responses from my students rather than having them merely retain and repeat information. I make use of different websites and encourage my students to read to improve both vocabulary and fluency.

My favourite part of teaching is getting to know my students are learning about their cultures. I am also happy when I see my students having fun while learning. I am a professional English teacher with over 5 years teaching English to students from Beginner levels to Advanced. I have experience teaching students of various nationalities, ages and levels. My English accent is neutral and very easy to understand. I have completed a Level 7 Diploma in TESOL, which expanded my knowledge of teaching and improved my teaching techniques.

In 2008 I enrolled on a teacher training course in Peru and I have been teaching English ever since. I am familiar with the latest TEFL techniques and I will help you learn my language whatever your level. All you need is a little dedication and perseverance! I love my job and I mostly teach adults but also children from age 9 upwards. I have a neutral, easily understood British accent, perfect for teaching English. I have 3+ years of teaching and tutoring experience in numerous fields like Psychology, Social Work, and Criminology that is all conducted in English. I teach the Shona and English languages from beginner to advanced levels, and I am good at teaching all age ranges, from 10 to 50+ years old!
