I have been teaching for about three years now, (children and adults) I enjoy challenging my students because I love seeing them realize they are learning and evolving. My goal is to help you achieve your goal(s).

I love to travel. I have traveled to Germany, China, Hungary, Turkey, Ireland, Puerto Rice, and the eastern half of the USA so far. One of my favorite travel memories is playing soccer with Turkish children. I'm currently fixing a travel trailer so I can explore more of America and Canada. I have "grandma" hobbies such as reading, writing, baking, and knitting. I also have outdoorsy hobbies like hiking, kayaking, and volunteering on a horse farm. I'm a bit of a nerd, so I enjoy talking about things like Harry Potter. What things do we have in common? Let's talk about it! I show students a new thing in English every week. These things range from a good song to a comic I enjoy.

I have taught English in both offline and online setting and I have developed a lot of patience with people generally . With my experience I'm able to help you improve your English by correcting your mistakes and telling you better ways and more natural ways of saying things.

The best way to learn English is to consistently practice speaking and listening. These two areas are so important when wanting to communicate effectively and efficiently! Pronunciation is learned by listening, and by having discussions based on your areas of interest, your pronunciation and fluency will begin to improve! I became a teacher to share my passion for languages with the world. I want everyone to realise how much fun you can have learning a new language. It is easier than you think. Forget about all the boring language classes in school and prepare for lessons filled with fun and laughter. I became a TEFL qualified tutor in 2017 and since then have completed hundreds of hours of teaching students at all levels. I regularly help students of all levels to improve their understanding of English, increase their vocabulary and become confident English speakers. I have worked as a teacher for the past three years while developing my teaching skills through the completion of an MATESOL and enrolling in a doctoral degree in curriculum design and instruction. I have enjoyed working with a variety of ages, from children to adults. In addition to my master's degree, I also hold a teaching license from the state of Massachusetts (Grades 5-12) and have worked with the board of education in Japan for the past year. My top priority as an instructor is to see you grow, developing the skills you need to achieve your success.

You can expect me to bring positive energy to the classroom. I will be a good listener in our class. During conversational lessons, I will ask you questions that make you think. For example, "What would you tell your 20-year-old self?" – maybe you will teach me something too:) If you are not interested in having high level conversations, I am not the right teacher for you. After our first class together, I will send you a Google doc with all of my favorite free English content from the net.

My main focus focus has always been transferring the knowledge that is effective in that teaching and learning is interlinked .. I care about the lacks, needs and wants of my students... I studied English and New Media at the University of Limerick in Ireland, and then went to teach for a year in the United Arab Emirates. I taught at a private school that followed a very strict and rigid teaching methodology Combining technology and teachers, students used tablets, smart boards, and online platforms to become more autonomous and empowered. Following that, I moved to Madrid, Spain, and taught there for 3 years. There I had more freedom to carry out the classes to my liking. I recently moved back to Ireland and have been teaching online extensively for the past several months.

Back in 2011, I trained for the Trinity College TESOL Certification in London (UK). As soon as I graduated, I was hired by the language school to begin teaching students. After a few months, I moved to Seville (Spain) and began teaching at a language academy in Seville (Spain). I also became a coordinator for TESOL Spain, a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing continued training and support to teachers of English. After a number of years, I moved to Buenos Aires (Argentina) and began working as a human resources consultant for multinational organisations. I continued to teach English independently and on a freelance basis.

I graduated from HCM University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2011, my major is International Relation. I formerly worked as an Assistant for foreign companies and I have taught online many years. I love to impart the culture and language of Vietnam to you. My students come from many countries like England, France, America, Russia, Korea, China, Taiwan, Canada, Australia, Japan, etc. Their purposes of studying Vietnamese are to live in Vietnam long term, their boyfriends or gfs are Vietnamese, to travel to Vietnam, to work here, especially they are English teachers in Vietnam.

After that, my wife and I opened our own Music Academy and I had my own business as a Private Guitar Teacher and I decided to teach English a few years later because I have fun teaching my foreign friends. I'm in finance and my BA is in Video Production.

As a teacher, I am just as friendly and relaxed as I am in my everyday life. But I also know when to be serious. I am eager to help you with whatever you are having trouble with, but I definitely believe that the student is responsible for his/her learning in the end. I like to lead the student to the 'correct answer' instead of simply revealing the answers.
