I have a relaxed and friendly attitude and experience teaching people of all levels. I was a teacher at an academy in Spain where students were studying for the Cambridge exams so I'm familiar with these and helped students achieve success in them. I've also taught IELTS and employees in companies, as well as offering conversational classes.

I truly believe that in order to learn the student must be in a safe and stimulating environment. It should be a place that is full of rich language and discussion where the student can take risks and have fun. I also believe learning language is not linear. That we need to constantly focus on all the skills and that build on each other over time. I would like to add that while I enjoy being a community teacher very much, I am actually a highly qualified professional teacher. At the time of writing, Italki is not accepting any more professional teachers of English. It's for this reason that my rates are perhaps higher than other community teachers. :-)
