I was born and grew up in Sunny Tuscany and I have a bachelor's in Linguistics, from Siena University. I live in mid-Norway, way closer to the polar circle than I am used to! Before moving to Scandinavia I lived in Berlin for eight years and spent four years in Marseille where I refreshed and leveled up my French. I've been learning/teaching tai chi chuan for several years and I have an international family where Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, English, and French are spoken on a daily basis.

My technical knowledge of the language learning process is supported by my personal experience in learning foreign languages. This helps me to find the right balance between grammar, conversation, and ludic activities to keep the lesson light to follow and the interest high. I attended training for Waldorf teachers for two years and got plenty of ideas and experience about teaching more creatively!

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

Lessons are tailored to the students' needs and level, which I asses during the trial class. Grammar and syntax ARE important for me and constitute the framework of my program, but I offer my students a wide margin of adaptation of the lesson structure to their needs and goals. I like to introduce new linguistic structures and grammar through stimulating media like videos, songs, and literature. I love music, from folk to opera through jazz and dub and I'll find the right Italian tune for you! Vocabulary is essential and I like to work with pictures and quizzes to help students retain. I also offer classes for small groups of friends and families, just ask!

Oggi ho fatto un`ottima lezione con Sara, che mi ha aiutato ad espandere il mio vocabolario e si é concentrato un po`sull`ordine delle parole. Il tutto in un`atmosfera leggera e allegra. Le sue buone capacitá linguistiche sono evidenti, e rendono la lezione interessante. Grazie mille!
