Hello everyone, I'm Sophie, I speak German, Spanish and English. Two years ago I completed my training as a notary assistant, later I worked for 8 months in a Waldorf school in Chile, where I discovered my love for social work. After that I worked in a community for people with disabilities. When I travel, I usually stay with locals to learn more about their culture and their way of life. I truly believe that languages can break down barriers. Since November 2020 I have been studying at a seminar of the GOEHTE INSTITUTE where I am trained as a professional German teacher. The Semianr lasts about a year.

Moi en tant que professeur

Having fun and being interested in the culture is key to learning languages. Already in Chile I did lessons with friends on an exchange basis, where I noticed: "if you want, you can". I will show you why it is worth making an effort by exchanging ideas about my culture, our mentality and life in Germany. With the fun of it, you'll be motivated and happy to learn.

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

During the class we will only speak German. My clear pronunciation as well as facial expressions and gestures will help you understand faster. Grammer/Vocabulary: For the students who learn grammar with me in order to reach a higher level, I use the German book series "Aspekte". I have all editions of A1-C1 as PDF files, which I am sending you free of charge. Kids/Teenagers: We learn with colorful worksheets, compare photos and images, read fairy tales or watch Viceo quizzes. If my younger students want to get ahead with grammar for school, we also work with the "Aspects" series, but adapted to the needs of adolescents.
