I currently have about 25-30 English students online through a different company. I am one of the top teachers their as the students like my methods of encouragement when it comes to teaching. I learned this from my time working as a teacher at a school in St Petersburg Florida. I worked there for four years as a teacher of both music and middle school English. I have a dual bachelors degree from UW Oshkosh in English Education and Violin Performance. I am also an avid violin teacher as well. I like to teach in a style where the student does a bulk of the talking. At Alfred Adler, we focused on encouraging the student to take charge and take the lead. In order to learn we have to believe in ourselves. So, when a student feels confident to share they will even surprise themselves with their abilities. I have been very successful with my other company because I am able to bring this out in students. Through teaching violin and languages, I have honed in my gift of being very relatable and understanding of students. It shows in their abilities after just a short time. Literature/English TeacherThis is my own business consisting of literature, language, violin and guitar students. It is all online and but began in St Petersburg Florida. When I decided to go abroad, many of my real life students from my music studio and public school I taught at decided to go online with me. Currently, I have about 25 students. Don't worry, I have room for more!
2015 - 2019
TeacherAt this school I taught the middle school lab and was the music teacher. It had the benefit of being a smaller school so I was able to do both. In the middle school, we worked through the FLVS platform and I functioned as their teacher for all subjects. We worked together setting goal plans, working on homework and preparing for tests together in all subjects. We also had an after school book club as well as extra hours tutoring for students in need.
