I am very lucky because I love my profession. But passion alone is not enough to be a good teacher. You also need didactic, methodical and pedagogical skills. For this reason I decided to attend the distance learning course "DaF Methodik und Didaktik" at the Goethe Institute in June 2019. I successfully passed the final exam. I am convinced that teachers need to be constantly trained, too. So they are able to offer their students the best teaching performance. Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
It is important to deal with your environment, build relationships, communicate appropriately and listen carefully to the students. Apart from the professional competence, the social aspect is also essential. A relaxed learning atmosphere is necessary in order to encourage the students to lead a conversation in the foreign language without any fear.
The needs of the students play a central role in my teaching. In my courses I use textbooks that are structured according to the requirements of the European frame of reference. I sometimes supplement them with current topics and songs in order to guarantee an lifelike and learner-oriented lesson.Mes ressources d'enseignement

Julia is an excellent teacher. She is well prepared for the lesson. During the course I had a lot of opportunity to speak, she also corrected my German when necessary. I really enjoyed speaking German with Julia.

Julia is a great teacher! She is very good at describing things in the language you are learning and making difficult concepts easy to understand. She is always prepared and makes good use of our lesson time. In the short time I have had her as a teacher I have made a lot of improvement. I highly recommend her!
