À propos de moi
Professeur italki depuis le 6 May 2020
*I'm currently in Japan*
I was born in Tokyo and raised in Chiba. I now live in London, England and working as a sound engineer.
Although I had never studied English after high school or travelled outside of Japan, I decided to live abroad when I was 26 years old. I've lived in Canada, USA and UK since then.
I studied hard and now I'm working among native English speakers. I'd love to share my experience with you who are trying to gain a new language skill.
I love travelling and have done a road trip in the USA and have visited around 20 countries. I always enjoy meeting people from all over the world and knowing their culture and life. I hope I can talk with you have fun communication :)
Moi en tant que professeur
Although I have never formally trained in teaching language, I have voluntarily taught Japanese for many years. I’ve attended to language exchange lessons in Toronto and New York and taught Japanese to people from all over the world (e.g. American, Canadian, Russian, Polish, German, Chinese, Korean, Indian etc.) from very beginners to fluent people.
I made close friends who learn Japanese and we always asked and taught each other when I was studying English. One of my best friends is an American and he still asks me about the Japanese language even after he moved to Japan.
Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
I think the best way to practice languages is;
1. having conversation with a native speaker who understands or tries to understand what you are saying
2. getting your words and sentences corrected by native speakers
As native speakers acquire their language skill naturally. There are not always certain rules or logic.
I will give you examples of what you want to say in Japanese from a native tongue.
Also as I speak English fluently, I can explain confusing part of Japanse comparing to English and other European languages (I've learned basis German, Spanish and French)

It's always a pleasure taking Eno's class. He is really chill and nice and always asks what I want to learn to increase my quality of life while I am living in Tokyo. Today I learned about how to talk about hobbies, music, and how to ask someone out to go to a museum, grab food, etc. I'm a huge fan of conversational learning and Eno is really great at that and accommodates really well. Looking forward to next week.

Eno was very friendly and patient. He helped me with my speaking and listening. I had plenty of conversation practice with Eno and I feel like I improved in a short time. I will definitely have another lesson with him.

Had very casual, various conversation on many topics some of which were very difficult. Even though my Japanese was very poor today, Eno-san was very patient in helping me to express myself more clearly. I was provided with very interesting and helpful vocabulary. Looking forward to next time! thanks.
