Hi, I'm Sara and I teach Italian here on italki. I'm Italian and, currently, I am in Reading (England). In the past, I also lived in both Rome and near Venice for pretty much half of my life, and I go there often. I speak . My native language is Italian and I am a near-native speaker of English. I also speak Spanish, which I studied at university, and I can speak a bit of Norwegian. In the future, I am very determined to learn more Japanese too, and be able to actually speak it, because I love the Japanese culture, food and everything that involves Japan. I also like to play video games (mainly fantasy/adventure video games), watching films, listening to rock music and reading novels.

Moi en tant que professeur

At university, I studied three foreign languages and then I did a Master's in translation. Studying translation made me aware of the importance of knowing my native language perfectly and throught my foreign language(s) learning I tried many types of exercises. As I am experienced in learning a new language, I feel like I can now help other people with it and adapt myself to their requirements. I am a kind and open-minded person and am also available to speak Spanish with you if it's your native language and you don't feel very comfortable speaking English.

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

I am open to teach to people with either a beginner, intermediate or advanced level of Italian or English. Please, let me know if you have any requirements regarding what kind of material you'd like to use or if you wish to learn something in particular. If you don't, no worries, I will find the right material and structure the lesson at best for you. If you feel already confident with your language skills, we could do some conversation together so you can improve your pronunciation and learn more vocabulary.
