Hi, my name is Pavlos. I was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I graduated from Bishop's University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Religion. I have since traveled to over 55 countries to continue my education in the language, culture and religions of the people of the world. It also gives me an opportunity to pursue my love of photography and discover local food cultures. In 2014, after having moved to Greece, I completed my TEFL degree. I have been teaching English as a foreign language ever since.

Moi en tant que professeur

I am a patient but energetic teacher. I only correct my students when necessary, prioritizing student talk time and letting conversations flow. Instead of focusing on explaining the rules of the English language, I prefer to repeat the erroneous sentences that my students say in class in the right manner, making it a point to have them repeat it in the same way. The same goes for pronunciation errors. Repetition is key.

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

I find that creating a lesson plan that is catered to the interests and language skills of my students makes for a fun and productive experience while learning English. Being a native speaker I focus on word order, pronunciation and grammar. My lessons are fun, enthusiastic and memorable.
