After gaining a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and then working as a professional engineer for 5 years, I decided I wanted to start a new career as an English teacher abroad. Since 2018, I’ve been working and living in Bilbao, Spain.
My areas of expertise are;
• Business English (for those seeking out a promotion or new job which requires greater competence in English and those looking to socialize more confidently with foreign colleagues)
• Cambridge Exam Preparation (KET, PET, First, Advanced). Speaking and/or writing.
• General conversation classes Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
As I mentioned above – I want you to talk as much as possible during our time together. You´ll find that a lot of teachers have the bad habit of talking too much and overexplaining small things unnecessarily, not allowing their student to talk. I´m not one of these teachers.
I will provide the context for our conversation and correct/explain mistakes as required. I recommend to all of my students, especially those at a lower level, to read and listen to English material OUTSIDE of class. The main purpose of our class time is for you to gain confidence in your spoken English, learn more complex grammar/vocabulary and cut out any silly mistakes!Mes ressources d'enseignement

Peter Beaton is a magnificent teacher because of some reasons:
- he notes your mistakes in a google doc, so you can see your mistakes, correct them later again and eventually observe your progress;
- he has a necessary material for preparing to Cambridge exam;
- he could prepare whatever you want, create innovate and interesting exercise to practice a skill that you need;
- he always gives feedback on your letter quickly, if you write to him and ask a question in the skype during the day;
- he is a very smart person and can not only prepare you for an exam, but also keep up the conversation on any topic.
So I can recommend him for practising and improving your speaking skills not only for an exam passing, but also for simple conversation.
