I started as a Spanish teacher pretty much by accident. I was in need of a job and a friend from China came to Mexico to work, but he had no clue of the language, so he asked me to teach him seriously.
We started with the lessons, and he allowed me to experiment with the approaching to the subjects. In time he started progressing and he recommended me with some of his other work mates. It was a little bit easier for me because my little sister is an english teacher, so she helped me develop different techniques.
From there it's all been natural, like it's my place to be. Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
I do use a workbook so we can alway have a base, but I always try to combine it with some videos, songs, movie clips, books, poems, etc. Just so you can have a more diverse focus when learning, and you start loosing fear of interacting with the language. You'll get surprise on how fast you can start understanding some things.
Of course, I'm very patient with the process of every student and I enjoy watching every step of it.
I don't use exams, the progress is tracked down in every lesson, and since my method involves actually speaking the language during the lessons (up to the level of the student), there's no much to hide.Mes ressources d'enseignement

Priscila does an excellent job day in and day out. A great conversation partner and teacher. I look forward to every lesson. After a few months of lessons I feel I am improving so much.

Great. She's kind, patient, and encouraging! The lessons are at your pace, and she pushes you forward but not out of your depth. I always ask for homework to practice and she supplies links and resources to study with. I highly recommend working with Priscila.
