After using italki for my own language practice, I started helping other people to improve their English. I think you learn best when you're relaxed and having fun. In our first lesson we will probably talk about why you're learning English and what your goals are. It's important to me that we practise the English you want to be able to use, so I'll be guided by your interests, passions and needs. Beyond italki, I have given one-on-one French tuition, and have taught English and theatre skills to students of all ages. Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
My lessons tend to be free-flowing conversations and I will help you to express your ideas and feelings in English. You can suggest topics for conversation, or I can help you prepare for a presentation, or we can just chat. I can help you have your very first conversation in English, or finesse the finer points of your mastery of English. In every lesson, I make notes of corrections, and useful vocabulary and grammar, that come up in conversation so that you can review later. I don't set homework but I might recommend resources or exercises to help you with specific goals.

Today, we talked about Nick Payne´s play "Constellations". Although the language seems to be simple and the play appears to be minimalistic in terms of cast and setting, the structure of the plays offers many possible ways of looking at the story! Jon gave me new and surprising insight into this short, but compact theatre play. Jon, as a theatre director, ist an absolutely professional and fabulous teacher, introducing me into the fascinating world of theatre!
