Hello, My name is Maria Pedro R.   I'm Portuguese, born in France. Although I consider Portuguese being my mother tongue, I speak French as a native. In addition to my native langue, I also speak Spanish fluently (C2).   I had the chance to live for 15 years abroad: Spain, France, Belgium, Germany. I love teaching Portuguese and sharing the Portuguese culture (we can speak about food, literature, poetry, music) - not only Portuguese music but also the rich Brazilian repertoire music. I'm very curious, I love to speak with people and to learn new things. Let’s talk!

I'm very motivated, consistent and extremely patient.  I know the difficulty of learning a new language because I myself have learned Spanish and Catalan as I did my Art Studies in Barcelona. Years later, as I moved to Germany I studied German – one of the biggest challenges in my life. Through this experience I understood how both challenging and marvelous learning a language can be. The more you speak a language the more you learn. I suggest, for example: -Free conversation  -Conversation about a specific topic (I can send you a text and a video before the class)  -Role play  -General learning  -prepare for a trip in Portugal,  other things

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

We will take the time that you need. I will do my best to help you in Portuguese in a positive atmosphere. You can tell me your needs or what are your goals. Or I can suggest you some radio recordings, exercises and texts. For instance, through a first conversation with some questions we’ll be able to identify your most fragile points (vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, the verb tenses, etc.) and work from there.
