Today was my last lesson with Thor and yesterday I took finally my IELTS exam. I wanted to say that a couple of months ago I didn't even know where to begin with, I wasn't prepared to talk 2 minutes for the of the speaking exam and I was a disaster in the writing. With Thor I could finally understand what was required from the examinators, he was able to teach me tips and tricks that were really useful for my exam. He is really prepared for the writing, he knows everything that you need about the organisation, the specific words and vocabulary that you need to use and how you need to organise your ideas. He will help you at the maximum of his possibilities, if you are willing to study and to write lots of essays you will see the differences sooner that you could imagine. Also if in the beginning he seemed a little cold and detached, you will discover that he really likes his job and help people and if he's not in a hurry he will stay with you talking and laughing about every subject.

Thor is one of the rarest examples of a teacher who has experience in the IELTS test since he passed through it personally. I would recommend him as a tutor for people, desiring to achieve decent results during the test, owing to some of technics which are not well-known, but vitally important for students who are focused on achieving 7.0+ in reading and speaking sections in the short term. By the way, he is a passionate mentor who sincerely loves what he does, and If you have the urge to discuss offtopic themes, Thor is ready to speak or argue with you even when your time is running out. For example, we were discussing Napoleon and his life path after the lesson had been finished and Thor had some spare-time. Nevertheless, he requires from you to work hard as he is concentrated on results. If you are not a couch potato and ready to work at a rapid pace, then take a lesson with Thor. If I had met him earlier, I would have been with the certificate abroad.

Very nice teacher, really prepared about how to take IELTS test properly

Two months ago I was lost in searches of English teacher who can help me with Ielts. My speaking and writing were terrible. When I had found Thor and started lessons it was still hard for me to speak and to write "normal essays". But now I feel the difference, especially after Ielts exam- when I talked for 2 minutes without stop or hesitation at all . Thank you for your great teaching, explanations, plenty of materials and friendly conversations that helped me a lot.
