Turkish is my mother tongue and I was always good in Turkish Grammar and literature and helping my classmates.
I studied BA of film directing in Istanbul and now a MA candidate for a Philosophy and Social Thought programme.
I gave and still do independent short film-making workshops. I enjoy teaching and always get a good feedback. I feel responsible to myself and to the people I'm facing.
I taught basketball to age 11 to 17 during high school and I coached the school basketball team. Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
I use several 'only Turkish language' course books and work books together with several Turkish grammar explanation books in English and Turkish.
Priority is speaking the language right by not getting bored with grammar.
Grammar is solved with reading texts.
After a trial lesson, I diagnose the level and offer a personal program.
Every question you have will be clarified by me, also in English language if necessary. I prefer to let the student speak and guide them with subtlety.Mes ressources d'enseignement

Cem is always well prepared and provides useful materials to help get the most out of his lessons in intermediate Turkish. His English is excellent and he is able to explain vocabulary and grammatical concepts with ease. He clearly has extensive experience and is well trained. I have been using Cem regularly for a year now and highly recommend him.

Cem and I had a nice lesson. I worked on a listening exercise ahead of time where I wrote down the narration of a video. Then we went over it together and he corrected my errors and I practiced reading the text with the proper pronunciation and intonation.
