My name's Sam, and I've been a German teacher for 4 years now. I taught at inlingua Frankfurt for a little over 2 years and spent almost 2 years teaching German to South Koreans in Seoul. Before I decided to go into teaching, I got a Bachelor's degree in translation for English and Polish. I can confidently say that I speak English like a native speaker, but I have to admit that my Polish is rusty at best. I also speak Korean to a certain degree, but I'm far from being able to have a normal conversation with a native speaker. All in all, I'm interested in learning languages and teaching my own mother tongue to non-natives.

Moi en tant que professeur

First of all, I will always help you to the best of my ability. I see myself as a conscientious teacher and want my students to do so too. Secondly, a German studying Korean, I know too well that learning a foreign language that is unrelated to your own mother tongue can be extremely rough, which is why I am very patient and calm when I teach. Speaking a foreign language can be really stressful, so let's take it easy.

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

Just let me know what you need so that I can cater to your specific needs. We can have conversational classes where we talk about anything and everything; no topic is really out of the question. I have an opinion on a lot of topics, but since it's best if you are comfortable and accustomed with what we talk about, I let you decide what you think is a good topic. We can also decide on a level that is appropriate for you (A1 to C1) and work on your general progress in the language. I will always make the class as interesting as possible, and even though I have some stories to tell too, I will make sure that you are the one that will practice speaking. Test prep is also possible if needed.
