Moi en tant que professeur
I've been a community tutor here in Italki for a good time and I like it because it gives me the opportunity to get to know different people and learn a lot with them. I like to teach clearly and easily. I prepare my lessons taking in consideration the student's prior knowledge and how can I help him to learn without being frustrating. I'm very patience and that helps a lot in the lessons. Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
º In my lessons I like to speak Portuguese with the student, so he/she get used to hearing this new language.
º The lessons revolve around the conversation, and this can be about everything the student feels comfortable talking about, from their doubts to the more basic things like their morning. I also like to do some exercises, if the students agrees on that.
º From my students I expect effort, consistency and commitment.
º Except the first class, when a student books a lesson, it would be best if he sent me a message about what topics he wants to talk to, this way I can prepare our lessons with me most resources I can.Mes ressources d'enseignement

Era muito útil e divertido de aprender português com a Jael.
We had a series of classes over several months which helped me improve my Portuguese to prepare for a trip to Portugal. Jael is friendly and helpful. If anyone is wondering what a person from Angola might sound like, Jael speaks standard European Portuguese.

It was nice meeting Jael. On this first lesson, we focused on getting to know each other and, as a teacher, Jael was very professional and interested in finding out more about my expectations and learning style. Looking forward to the next class.

It was a very productive class. Jael es a very engaging teacher that introduced me to several aspects about Angola. Some people who are accustomed to Brazilian Portuguese might be wary of the Angolan accent but I felt that Jael speak with an easy to understand accent.
Foi uma aula muita productiva. Falar com Jael foi muito interessante. Ela me introduciu a varios aspectos da vida na Angola. Algumas pessoas acostumadas ao sotaque brasileiro podem ter certa reticência do sotaque Angolano mas eu achei que Jael fala com um sotaque muito claro e facil de entender.
