I think I have always wanted to be a teacher because I like to share knowledge. Initially, I wanted to teach young children so I took Early Childhood Education courses at College. TEN YEARS of TEACHING EXPERIENCE, as a private tutor, helped me learn the value of humour. When children are entertained, they learn easily! Learning should be FUN!
For 20 years, I have enjoyed working with adults to help them improve their comprehension and vocabulary. No one is ever too old to learn! Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
As a teacher, I realize that different people require VARIED TEACHING STYLES. Completing a TESOL course helped build my ability in teaching methods. I make it a goal to help students remember what they learn. The communicative approach and word frequency are basics to my teaching style, but, word association, and visual aids, such as photographs, can really be helpful tools to use. A good teacher is a versatile one who keeps the student motivated. I hope I can be part of your English education.Mes ressources d'enseignement
