My goal is for you to become *proficient* in the language - versus being able to recite grammar rules or memorized phrases.
I believe humans become proficient in a language as a by-product of being engaged in communication. This means we learn a language when we understand it and when we communicate meaning.
My teaching is based on a contemporary communicative approach that is informed by current research on Second Language Acquisition. I incorporate techniques from TPR (Total Physical Response), TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) and task-based language learning. Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
I specialize in teaching adults of all ages. I particularly enjoy working with learners who feel frustrated or demotivated by traditional teaching or who think they're "bad at languages."
I plan my lessons so that they are stress-free and relevant to my learners. I don't waste our time with stressful techniques that are not proven to help your language learning, such as drills.
Reading is a key component of language learning. I will supply (and we will co-create) short readings and reading exercises so you can continue learning on your own.Mes ressources d'enseignement

It was so nice resuming a class with Pablo today - fun, engaging and immaculately organised. I appreciate him pinpointing the area of improvement in my pronunciation and that he showed some visual guides to rectify it. I should also mention that he has the greatest sense of humor in Argentina!

Pablo's lessons are always well organized and interesting. He introduces the stories in novel ways that force me to use new vocabulary and to engage with the literary devices of the literature under discussion.
