Me as a Teacher
I started to work as a teacher some years ago preparing students for Spanish exams. Also, I have taught English in a private school in Chile. Recently, I have done training for Spanish teachers in Instituto Cervantes ELE (español como lengua extranjera).
I also hold a certificate as a DELE examiner level B1-B2. awarded by Instituto Cervantes, Dublin. Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
My Lessons & Teaching Style
As a learner of a foreign language, I know the challenges and difficulties of acquiring a language. Thus, in order to help my students, I focus on their particular needs. I don't focus specifically on grammar unless the student needs it, rather I make learning a language an attractive experience by learning the culture, daily life routines, etc.Mes ressources d'enseignement

I struggle at times with understanding spoken Spanish, as compared to that in written form. Soon after we began our lesson, Alejandra adjusted her approach by transcribing the words and phrases that I struggled to grasp. She is pleasant, interesting, and encouraging.

I had a great lesson with Alejandra! She was very prepared, even asking in advance what I’d like to concentrate on, and had lots of advice and resources to share for my forthcoming trip to Chile. Highly recommended!

Alejandra is a great teacher. We talked about a variety of topics, allowing me to practice and work on my listening and speaking skills. She helped me with expressing my wishes and desires, using the subjunctive -- and also shared some great phrases that I can use in conversations. A great lesson!
