My name is Vilma and I am from the beautiful country Sweden. I have a always been interested and passionate about languages, other countries and the diversity that exist when it comes to cultures all around the world. As a child I used to be very outgoing and as i grew older i started learning various languages, thus I am multilingual. I speak swedish, english, spanish and french. Furthermore i studied Latin for two years in High school. What else? I am a very energy filled young woman with a lot of passion. I try to enjoy the small things in life and make the most of what i have here and now.

Moi en tant que professeur

I would say that I am very patient, calm and enthusiastic as a teacher. I love teaching. I love being able to help people to integrate in the Swedish society by learning the most essential part, the language. I also do love being able to help the ones who are passionate about language and need a little extra motivation and help when it comes to the improvements. I have various years of experience, I started tutoring Swedish for immigrants after school as i was 16 years old and ever since then I have been tutoring especially from 2014 and onwards. Since July 2017 I have had the privilege to teach on iTalki and i absolutely love it. It has given me a lot of experience and knowledge.

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

My lessons differ a lot depending on the student. If the student is a beginner we generally focus on learning the basics first and to have a strong foundation and eventually focus on the goal which is to be able to express yourself. With my intermediates and advanced students the goal is usually to make the student feel comfortable expressing himself in Swedish by having conversations about different topics, reading Swedish news articles and discussing the things we talk about in Swedish only. Even if the student might not be that good in speaking and expressing himself I always speak Swedish with the person in order to cross the limits and to improve quicker, thus I´d say I am patient.

Vilma is always pushing me to do my best ! Iam learning so much with her ! And the lessons are funny and I feel i am making huge progress !!

Vilma is young but really prepared and professional, kind and enduring. All of us like the trial lesson so much ! My 10yo son thinks she is awesome (kids loves or hates "istintively") and also my husband (who doesn't speak English at all) now tells "I have understood quite all things, even her English explanations..."). So Vilma has reached her primary goal: we think that Swedish is a nice language and we want to learn it ! Tack så mycket and hej då !
