I've tutored students and volunteered as a Dutch teacher for immigrants in my city, both in private and group settings. I attended a Dutch University and worked for a local news website, so I have a professional and academic level of Dutch.
I believe my experience helps me listen well and find out what makes you tick. It's not always easy to know where you need improvement, so I try to keep an eye on this and discuss it regularly.
I work well with German students, because my grasp of German often helps me locate the source of confusion and spot 'false friends' - words that sound very similar but mean different things! Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
Languages are exciting! Having an interesting conversation will help you have fun and stay motivated.
I know from experience how often we say things wrong when learning; it's inevitable. However, the best way to remember is to make mistakes, so let's expand your comfort zone! I am forgiving and correct gently to aid conversational flow, but can be firmer if need be (it depends on what works for you). I like feedback! ;-)
My trial lessons are used to clarify your goals and make a plan for your upcoming lessons. Beginners often need a bit of extra guidance, so extra materials may be needed. I recommend spaced repetition apps (such as Anki) for vocabulary and study books for grammar.Mes ressources d'enseignement

I would recommend Florian to anyone who’s serious about learning Dutch and has specific goals in mind. Not only is he friendly, funny and patient, he is also extremely flexible and willing to work with whatever ideas you have, so you can get the most out of his lessons :) Tot de volgende keer!

Florian's awesome! At each of our lessons, I'm treated to pronunciation tips, sentence corrections, cultural insights, idiomatic expressions, and awesome conversation. Living in the Netherlands, I often contend with words that are confusing or a cultural thing I don't understand. It's been SO helpful to have a warm, supportive, and hilarious person like Florian there to provide some answers. Fantastic teacher. Top notch!

The first lesson was great! Florian is a very patient teacher, who listened and didn't interrupt me, then afterwards he helped me to express my thoughts in a better and more natural way. I really appreciate that. He speaks very clear Dutch, so I could understand him even being a complete beginner. Tot de volgende keer!
