I'm a native Japanese speaker from Kumamoto in Japan, who had lived in Bangkok(8 years), Hanoi(3 years), Newcastle Australia(1 year) and Washington State, U.S.A(2 month). I had moved a lot for teaching Japanese. After traveling in Asia, Europe, and America (33 coutries) I realized there are so many languages and cultures in this world. Since then, I have become a language enthusiast. Thus far, I have learned several languages and of course, I cannot gain fluency in all of them. However, this has helped me conduct easy-to-understand and customized classes for students with diverse language backgrounds.

I've been studying English online for many years. So, I understand there are pros and cons to online lessons. I think highly of the balance between input and output during my lessons. I try to encourage my students to use the phrases you learned in a real situation. I created my lessons as I illustrated below. 1. Memorize new phrases 2. Practice the phrases in your own situation (simulation) 3. I'm a qualified Japanese teacher completing the Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language course, passing the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test, and earning a master's degree in Translation Studies. So far, I’ve been involved in several linguistic projects like translation, localisation and annotation for NLP. I specialise in the area of connotation, implication, and nuance of words and sentences. I’ve been teaching Japanese to learners of various levels, first languages, and professional backgrounds. It's given me the chance to meet amazing people from all around the world. I’ve also learnt a lot from them. I love it! : )

My first priority is students' interests and purposes of taking lessons. I'm here to help you attain your goals no matter what they are. I can take any levels of students from beginners to advanced level speakers though I'm a community tutor who don't have a structured series of courses with textbooks. For completely beginners, I recommend to consider to take lessons with other professional tutors.
