I am very supportive and I can help you to become a great Japanese speaker with my patient and easy-going personality :) I grew up in Fukuoka and I have been trained in professional speaking and pronunciation at my job at the information service center in the airport so I can teach you Hyojyungo (Tokyo dialect). I can also teach Hakata dialect which is spoken here in Fukuoka.

I am very paitient and most of the time in the class, I focus on to make the student speaking. 今まで、日本語学校やオンラインで様々な国の学生に日本語を教えてきました。試験のためのレッスンはもちろん、趣味として日本語を上達させたいと思っている学生にも、どうすれば上達できるのかいっしょに考え、それぞれの学生のスタイルに合わせたレッスンをすることができます。学生と一緒に日本語を楽しむことが大好きです。 I have taught Japanese to a lot of students from various countries at Japanese language schools and in online lessons. I will help you not only for test preparation, but also with your study of Japanese as a hobby. If you don’t know what to study, I can suggest focus points for your studies to help you improve your Japanese level. I like to enjoy Japanese together with my students.

I am currently a senior in college, and I am a teaching assistant for Japanese.  I help teach Introductory Japanese as well as Intermediate Japanese, so I am familiar with how a course is laid out in a higher education environment.  I have personally tutored many of my friends, family, and colleagues, and I have enjoyed every bit of it. Teaching people Japanese and English is one of my passions, and I would love to take part in the journey of learning a new language with you!

Since November 2017, I have been working as a Community Tutor at Italki. Besides classes on the Internet, I also teach in the classroom. My students range from junior high school to adults of all ages. I have also had lessons with kindergarten students and elementary school children. I love studying foreign languages myself. Even though sometimes I feel I have run into a brick wall. Still, I feel that I improve rapidly in one day if I work hard and don’t give up！

I've been teaching the local students English for over 25 years and I find teaching very exciting. Now I'm excited to teach Japanese to people all over the world. Although my carrier as a Japanese teacher has just started, I'll do my very best to give you fun lessons.

I'm a qualified Japanese teacher completing the Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language course, passing the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test, and earning a master's degree in Translation Studies. So far, I’ve been involved in several linguistic projects like translation, localisation and annotation for NLP. I specialise in the area of connotation, implication, and nuance of words and sentences. I’ve been teaching Japanese to learners of various levels, first languages, and professional backgrounds. My teaching method focuses on practicing conversation, using casual language to simulate daily conversation. Vocabulary, pronunciation, intonation, and grammar are taught naturally as the conversation evolves.
