After being fortunate enough to casually teach Japanese to travellers in my own spare time, I've decided to take to iTalki so I may reach more potential friends around the world and converse in this beautiful language! I used to live in Australia and have the pleasure of teaching Japanese that place; I'm so excited to use the new methods of teaching I learnt in practice in our learning together! I was a school teacher for several years so I've learned to teach live people and not just through the computer. I teach not only adults but children too! I have taught 7 year old kids who did not speak Japanese at all when we began. We started from Hiragana and worked up to words and sentences. I love teaching all levels, so of course beginners are welcome! I have textbooks allowing us to crossed between book based lessons and speaking lessons. But if you want to be fluent in Japanese, you should learn with textbook, and learn Japanese language! I'll teach you how to speak in a real conversational manner and not the formal helpful but not natural conversation method used by textbooks.

I usually use Genki I, Articles and news but our lessons will be personalized to your preferences, and we focus on SPEAKING in practical dialogue. No matter what your level is, I will help to improve your Japanese step by step.

I don't have a qualification as a Japanese teacher, but I am currently studying to get a qualification. As a plan, I plan to take the exam next year. From the second year of university to the third year of university (2016-2017), I worked part-time as a cram school teacher at a private tutoring school. Thus, I am cut out for teaching something to others, and I am also good at it.

I'm not a strict teacher. you can ask me anything and anytime.I've had experience teaching English to young kids for 2 years, so I believe I possess the proper skills for teaching languages. And also I study Japanese education at university currently. ＊Recently I've stopped teaching Japanese to children and now only teach to adults.

I regularly teach Japanese by doing the language exchange with other language learners on italki. -I've been teaching and translating professionally in many countries for over 10 years. Besides teaching language, I used to teach Aikido (a japanese martial art) in Tokyo. -Since I grew up in both cultures, I'm pretty confident I can explain Japanese, from a native English perspective and vice versa. I often hear that people can't explain Japanese in English, b/c of their lack of English.

I've been teaching Japanese language for about 18years in Japanese Language school and company. I've been using a lot of textbook including for JLPT. "Marugoto""Minna no Nihongo""Dekiru Nihongo" "Chukyu e Ikoo""Chukyu o manaboo"...etc. I have also an experience of working as webdesigner. So I teach Japanese language using computer. 15年ぐらい日本語学校や会社で日本語を教えています。 日本語学校では1クラス20人ぐらい、会社では1クラス1人〜8人ぐらいを教えています。 初級は、「まるごと」「みんなの日本語」「新日本語の基礎」「できる日本語」など、 中級は、「中級へ行こう」「中級を学ぼう」など、 上級は、「ロープレ中上級」「厳選読解テーマ10」「ビジネスケースで学ぶ日本語」など、 JLPT対策は、「日本語総まとめ」「新完全マスター」「TRY」など たくさんの教科書を使ってきました。 もちろん、上記以外の教科書もたくさん使いました。 でも、実は教科書を使わないレッスンも好きです。 フリーの会話はもちろん、生徒さんに例文や会話を作ってもらう、生徒さんに好きなもの（こと）を話して（発表して）もらう、 新聞記事などの記事について話し合う、などです。

校正士（こうせいし）　出版物の誤字脱字をチェックする資格です。 Proofreader　―　It is a qualification to check misspelling in publications. 児童英語講師（じどうえいごこうし）　子供に英語を教える資格です。まだ経験はありません。 Children's English Instructor　―　It is a qualification to teach English to children. No experience yet. 栄養士（えいようし）　大学生の時に取得しました。経験はありませんが、日本料理についてなど、お話しできると思います。 Nutritionist　―　Acquired when I was a college student. I have no experience, but I can talk about Japanese food and cooking.
