I have worked as a tutor, tutoring grade 10 to 12 History learners and I have also worked as a Teacher Assistant (TA) at Mvula Primary School. Both roles have equipped me with an understanding of how to identify the learner's needs and how to make learning fun in order to cater for different learner needs. I have decided to work as a community tutor at iTalki because it will help me grow not only as an individual but also as a professional in the field of education, as a student teacher.

I have completed my TEFL certificate, and I will use those skills to help my students in their Xhosa learning journey. I also work at a local backpackers on the Wild Coast and I can use that business background to assist professionals in learning business Xhosa.

I am a fun teacher, I try to teach in a fun way. I am generally a happy person and I love meeting new personalities and cultures. I will be giving out home works as well just to have something to do after class and to have more to look forward to for the next class.

As a teacher ,I prioritize making the student feel as comfortable as possible and keep the learning process practical and simple. A fun, bubbly and energetic teacher who brightens up each lesson. No awkward moments!
