私は大学で日本文学を勉強しました。大学を卒業した後、日本の高校で6年間国語を教えました。その後、もっと日本語について勉強したいと思い、日本語の先生になるための講座を受講し、検定試験に合格しました。今はオンラインで日本語の先生として活動しています。会話や文法だけでなく、作文の添削や面接の練習も得意です。 I studied Japanese literature at university. After graduating from university, I taught Japanese at a Japanese high school for 6 years. After that, I wanted to learn more about Japanese, so I took a course to become a Japanese teacher and passed the certification exam. Now I am working online as a Japanese teacher. I am good at not only conversation and grammar, but also essay correction and interview practice.

I'm new to teaching on iTalki but I've been teaching Japanese online for a year now. I also love learning new languages and currently, I'm taking Greek lessons here. Therefore, I understand the difficulties we face when we learn new languages and sometimes you might feel like giving upon them. I've been teaching online since 2011. I've given over 25,000 lessons (more than 6200 on italki + other platforms) . I LOVE teaching and helping students. I often use screen sharing, so you can see a "virtual whiteboard" during my Intensive Japanese class. I won't make it boring by using a textbook, but I have my original materials and some customized files for you. ★ I'm very passionate ! My "Intensive Japanese" lessons are only for those who are serious and dedicated. I want my students to have at least 25 mins/day for self study/review. Possibly 1hr/day, if you want to be fluent quickly :) ★ I'd have to "unleash hell" when a student gets lazy. haha. Bet you don't want to see that.

I always try to make things easier by using a lot of pictures. I also like casual conversations.

I have taught Japanese as a second language to hundreds of people in both group and private lessons of all ages, including high school students (The Victorian Certificate of Education in Australia). I’ve been teaching many years and so my text books have been well used especially the beginner ones. I also have a lot of experience in preparing students for JLPT exams from N5 to N1. I have always tried to provide a comfortable and encouraging environment in my class. I adapt the pace of progress to the students.
