I'm smiling and i love to share what i had knew. I learned and i'm learning languages so i know that sometimes we can feel uncomfortable so i will do my best to help you to feel good.

I'm an Italian language teacher, I already have experience in teaching Italian to kids, teenagers and adults. I teach students of all levels, from A1 until C2, and kids are welcome too. I'm very friendly and my lessons are very relaxed. I'll treat you with respect and patience, to ensure you feel comfortable and confident when speaking in Italian. I also love teaching children. Games, songs and lots of fun is the basis of these lessons. If you have 2 children, I'm happy to split the lesson into two 30 minute lessons.

I have a degree in Law, a Master in Development, and a certification in teaching Italian to foreigners (CEDILS) from the University of Venezia. I have been teaching Italian for 4 years to students from different nationalities at an International School and through private lessons. I taught children, teenagers, and adults from beginners to advanced level. My students described me as a warm and empathetic person and they enjoyed learning with me in a relaxed atmosphere.

I received my degree in languages and literature in 1986. One of my first jobs was worked as a congress hostess and also as a tourist translator. In 1992, I started to teach Italian as a foreign language for all levels, from beginners to advanced. I have taught one to one, groups and also full immersion lessons as requested. In the last few years, I have also taught children and young people using Skype. My certified Italian language teacher diploma is from the University of Siena ( Ditals I ) and from the University of Perugia ( DILS PG II ). I am registered in the professional register of teachers of Italian for foreigners known as APIDIS (Albo Professionale Insegnanti di Italiano )

As a teacher I work with all levels, beginners, intermediate and advanced, I teach Italian to teen and adult students, with over 16 years of teaching experience, so I know exactly the needs of my students, the difficulties that might confront them, and how to help them to overcome these difficulties. I believe I can help you learn or even improve your Italian level with grammar and also with conversation. I teach Italian in an easy, practical and fun way. I will listen to your suggestions and customize and adapt my lessons to meet your individual needs.

I've always helped my friends to learn French or Italian during my stay in France and also during my studies in Italy where I always helped foreign and Erasmus students learning Italian and English. I love to share my culture and to learn about other cultures, I really think that learning a new language is a way to connect, share and give yourself more possibilities and opportunities to reach your goals and to become a more open-minded and better person. I always try to share all of this during my lessons. That’s why I don’t like to say that I teach languages, I’d rather say that I exchange with people through the languages I speak.

I am a helpful and patient tutor, , I do my best to establish a human relationship with my students so that they do not feel judged.

My methodology is based on the communicative approach, and i really like the situational method, but i am pretty flexible. I like to try different lession plans and models in order to find the best strategy for my students according to their needs and interests. I have been working mostly with adults and teenagers, but I would love to challenge myself in teaching with kids or older people!
