I went to a german Gymnasium and to a turkish university. I am a primary school teacher in Turkey. I am a german and turkish native speaker. I had many students in Germany and Turkey, which I gave extra courses.

Heads up – I am a strict teacher! No slagging, no "I-can't's". Everyone can learn a language. I work with students who are motivated, who know why they learn and who really want to see results. This means intense practice during classes and homework. If you don't have time for homework, please let me know and we will find a solution together. >> For General lessons I normally use a textbook (or several textbooks) as the basis. We work with GoogleDocs, recordings, YouTube videos and other materials as necessary. >> Conversational Classes are free flow. >> During Interpreting/Translation classes we learn to make glossaries and work with videos, recordings, texts and speeches.

While I have not taught a lot of people languages I have always enjoyed teaching people to play the guitar. I think that I have good understanding for what is important when it comes to learning a language and I see myself capable in providing an environment where you can improve upon your skills.

I have helped many people learn languages and did it as a part-time job in my years of High School. Since I also did an exchange to the US, I am fully capable of speaking English as well which will help me translate it to international students from all over the world.

I will appreciate if my students keep time. If you happen to be more than 10 minutes late, kindly take into consideration that the lesson might not take place. German, English or Swahili; speaking is the easiest way to learning a language. It is best for you to state your language needs so as we may work around that. You will be able to practice what you learnt in school.

Due to the fact that I'm a language learner myself, I have got to know how the process of learning a language works, and how difficult or frustrating it sometimes can be. Luckily I know various tricks to overcome those barriers! I have experience teaching Spanish, German and English. I love to be able to help someone improve their skills in a language!

I have been a volunteer German tutor since 2017 and have worked with individuals aged 13 and above ranging from beginner to advanced language level. I am also happy to help with exam preparation, and provide guidance on specific tasks and proofread your work (texts, essays etc.) or help with improving your writing style, vocabulary and grammar.

I had some freelancer jobs as a translator and teacher already. Furthermore I've learned 4 foreign languages so far (English, French, Spanish, Japanese) and can therefore very well understand the problems beginners are facing when learning a new language. I've also lived in the French speaking part of swiss for more than 3 years. I enjoy teaching people things, especially in languages. I always try to speak slow, clearly and simplify my sentences if I realize the student can't keep up with me. I'm also very patient and give general advice on how to learn a language.

I believe that the best way of learning something is by having fun doing it and I want you to enjoy the process of learning german. I have learned many foreign languages myself and would love to share my insights with you.

I already have experience teaching students and adults and have a lot of fun to get to know new people from lots of different places and converse with you about your interests, your opinions and your culture while teaching you German. I like to prepare classes individually for my students to keep the motivation going. As well I try to form a positive environment, so you feel comfortable.

For the past few years, I've been volunteering with young people in schools to improve their confidence with English. During my time in Germany, I worked for the Red Cross as a learning mentor for a young refugee where I provided English conversation practice and helped him with his schoolwork. My current long-term goal is to become a schoolteacher. As a language learner myself, I understand the difficulties and challenges with learning a language and will be able to help you regardless of how old you are.

I was teaching imaginary students when I was about 5 years old - tea parties were not really my thing ;) Now, it's been more than 10 years of teaching experience with real students in Germany, Spain and France, kids, teenagers and adults, online and offline. When I teach, the main goal is to make the student speak, but we also practise listening and reading comprehension as well as writing. The tools we use in online lessons are engaging photos, videos, cartoons, audio files, titles, texts... I can claim to be a creative teacher :)

Friends that I teach German always tell me that I was a huge help for them. I am a really patient and passionate teacher. My biggest aim will be that you speak German as perfect as possible. I pay a lot of attention to mistakes and pronunciation. I speak German very slowly compared to other German natives so that you won't have any trouble understanding me. Since I haven't study German officially I might not be a grammar expert but I can ensure you totally that I am very good in doing research and preparing sources for you. I know exactly where to look these kind of things up when I am getting asked questions about grammar and I was told that I explain very very well and easy.

I studied German in university so I know what it like to learn the language. We can discuss any issues you have with the language and work together to find a solution. Especially if it is regarding grammar.

Learning languages should be fun and for me the best way to improve is to have a real life conversation about topics you like. I believe in positive encouragement rather than strict learning methods! If you enjoy doing something, the result will be good. As a teacher, I take the time to listen to you and to help you with new words. I am calm, patient and very friendly. I try to make the talking as real and relevant as possible.

My goal is to break the ice and try to get you comfortable speaking german. Mistakes are welcome ! It is not about how perfect somebody can speak a language, the goal is to be able to communicate with people. I want to find out which topics are interessting and fun for you, as I believe that you only stick with learning a langauge if you are having fun learning it.
