I’ve only been learning Korean from Iva for a month and I seriously can’t believe the progress I’ve made. Her lessons are well structured (with plenty of freedom to allow for natural conversation, too) and she is an outstanding communicator who can use Korean words I already know to explain concepts and vocabulary. If it weren’t for Iva, I would be nowhere near as confident in my speaking ability and would not feel as motivated to continue learning Korean. 이바 선생님, 저한테 잘 가르쳐 줘서 감사합니다!!

If you want a strong foundation in grammar, take Iva's lessons. She gives a thorough explanation and then practice exercises to make sure you understood the concepts and can use them correctly. Thank you, as always!

Iva has consistently been a personable, clear, supportive and FUN teacher to learn from. After spending a few weeks learning Korean grammar from her, I switched to free talking lessons and I am still amazed at how quickly I became conversational thanks to my lessons with her. I recently moved to Seoul and am able to navigate around on my own using only Korean thanks in large part to just a few months of Iva’s organized lessons and overall effective teaching style. If you’re serious about learning Korean, I cannot recommend Iva enough!!!

As always, Iva쌤 was prepared, patient, and purposeful with her lesson (the 3 P's). She can teach everyone from complete beginners to advanced learners. Her grammar teaching approach is great especially for intermediate learners looking to get over the "intermediate plateau". She is able to stick to Korean to explain concepts in simpler ways, without resorting to English. Highly recommend her grammar lessons!
