My first lesson with Maxim went really well! I knew nearly nothing, but his method is really effective at gradually building your vocabulary one step at a time

I've been taking general Russian classes with Maxim. He's really good at reinforcing concepts and building on what you already know. We work on exercises in a traditional book, and then he reinforces the grammar and vocabulary with conversation. The classes have a strong emphasis on business English. He always gives me homework and gives me useful feedback from it. He doesn't use a lot of outside material in these general Russian classes other than the book. However, as a beginning learner who has been struggling with grammar and vocabulary, he's been really helpful and I've improved a lot.

Well prepared, professional, and efficiently conducted the class in Russian despite my basic level. Highly recommended.

The lesson was very good. i like that he spoke very clear and he had an awesome listing about misstakes in the pronounciation and immediately corrected them. Until yet for me the best russian teacher who I had at italki.
