I am a very passionate teacher, I love to share my language and my knowledge about Italy, and its culture, films, music, literature, arts, food!!! I firmly believe that learning is based on trust between teacher and student, and the first objective of my classes is to individuate student's objectives and preferences.

I'm a very patient teacher. During my elementary school teaching experience, I learned patience and understanding are the keys to success. I love my students to feel comfortable asking questions and sharing their difficulties - I had to learn languages myself, so I know how challenging it can be. My students would probably also say I like having fun while teaching :) I love teaching adults, but also teenagers and children. I do different works based on the student's level and age.

Ho studiato lingue e letterature straniere all'università di Roma,(inglese , francese) e insegnato l 'italiano come madre lingua a Parigi ,in una scuola privata ad adulti e negli USA ho insegnato principalmente privatamente ad adulti.

Prendo sul serio ogni studente e lo seguo dall'inizio alla fine del corso. Sono sempre disponibile per aiutare con compiti extra se necessario e con consigli su come migliorare la lingua. Offro lezioni private da molto tempo ed ho avuto l'occasione di lavorare con persone molto diverse. I have been teaching Italian during an EVS (European Voluntary Service) in Bulgaria for 6 months, for the local people, and I have been also teaching English in Denmark for 7 month during my Teaching Practice in a school for kids with special needs, as part of my pedagogy education. During this period, I had many pedagogical possibilities to witness the importance of preparing a good lesson and always having a back-up plan. Moreover, I also understood how relevant it is to create a good connection with the students and get to know them better in order to make them feel part of the learning process and being in the driving seat of their education.

I've been teaching English(also Italian to foreigners) and collaborating with private Institutes in Italy since 2005. I'm self self-employed with all the pros and cons of that. I have gathered a wide range of experience varying from secondary school students to private One-to-One lesson with the C.E.O of an International well-know Italian Company (Bticino), teaching also the "Italian Tax and Border "Police; conversation classes in High schools; companies adult classes of Business English ; preparing pupils and adults for different kind of exams and certificates, private tutoring, etc etc. Passion, joy and meeting new human beings are the reasons why I keep loving my job!

Ho lavorato come assistente di italiano per stranieri per un anno. Ho esperienza come insegnante privata di inglese e matematica.

Sono un insegnante dinamico e molto attento alle motivazioni e ai bisogni degli studenti. Parto dalla valutazione del livello di competenza e organizzo l'insegnamento in modo da soddisfare il più possibile lo studente. La mia metodologia si basa sulle innovazioni introdotte dal QCER, il Quadro comune europeo di riferimento per la conoscenza delle lingue, che pone l'apprendente, le sue necessità, le sue caratteristiche e peculiarità in primo piano.

Cerco sempre di adeguare il mio modo di parlare al vostro livello linguistico, ma tendenzialmente parlerò in italiano, in modo da farvi abituare anche al suono della lingua. Sono un sostenitore del metodo “full immersion”: se si vuole imparare una lingua davvero, bisogna praticarla tanto. Per questo vi proporrò delle attività che potrete svolgere autonomamente tra una lezione e l’altra, se avrete tempo, come dei video da guardare su Youtube. Vi inviterò anche a scrivermi dei messaggi quando vorrete, per esercitare più frequentemente il vostro italiano.

My teaching style is based on communication. We discuss together goals, frequency, duration and contents. I shape my lessons to the level and the requirements of each person, in order to make the learning process quick, deep and, at the same time, interesting and fun. I love talking about different topics and sharing opinions. I always try to create a relax atmosphere in which you can feel comfortable.

Presto attenzione allo studente e alle sue necessità. L’obiettivo dello studente diventa la linea guida della lezione. Assieme allo studente cerco di comprendere le sue necessità e i suoi limiti per superarli. Sono amichevole, voglio che lo studente sia rilassato e si senta libero di esprimersi. Allo stesso tempo non transigo l’errore, la conoscenza corretta della lingua porta a una comunicazione più efficace.

Sono una persona molto paziente e solare. Credo che con il tempo ognuno possa raggiungere il proprio obiettivo! Mi piace parlare di libri, musica, teatro, film. Un modo divertente di imparere l'italiano è imparare le canzoni italiane, mi piacciono molto. Amo molto il mio paese quindi possiamo parlare della cultura italiana, di luoghi che ti piacerebbe visitare, del cibo! I'm a really patient and funny person! I love my country so we can have conversation about Italian culture, places that you'd like to visit, Italian food!
