We work with GoogleDocs, recordings, YouTube videos and other materials as necessary. >> Conversational Classes are free flow. >> During Interpreting/Translation classes we learn to make glossaries and work with videos, recordings, texts and speeches.

Having fun and being interested in the culture is key to learning languages. Already in Chile I did lessons with friends on an exchange basis, where I noticed: "if you want, you can". I will show you why it is worth making an effort by exchanging ideas about my culture, our mentality and life in Germany. With the fun of it, you'll be motivated and happy to learn.

I am a native German and English speaker and have professional experience teaching German to native English speakers, and teaching English to non-natives. Additionally, I have a bachelor's in language (Arabic) and though it is not the language I am teaching, this highly rigorous background in translation will be of benefit to both beginner's and advanced students. As a forever-learner of languages, I have the deepest respect for you and see us as equals. Right now I am learning AND teaching because there is always more to know :) Most likely, besides having a student-teacher relationship, we will become friends, the more time we spend together. People usually say I am patient, open-minded, kind and optimistic. I love having deep, inspiring conversations, love learning from people and listening to their stories. I think that every human live is unique, precious and truly awesome in the original sense of this word — inspiring awe. I offer speaking practice in Russian, English and German. Russian is my native language, I was born and live since childhood in Moscow, I have very standard Russian with classic Moscow pronunciation and vocabulary. I am perfectly fluent in English and German. I don't "feel" these languages as good as I feel Russian, but I know German and English grammar through and through due to my university background.

I will appreciate if my students keep time. If you happen to be more than 10 minutes late, kindly take into consideration that the lesson might not take place. German, English or Swahili; speaking is the easiest way to learning a language. It is best for you to state your language needs so as we may work around that. You will be able to practice what you learnt in school.

Due to the fact that I'm a language learner myself, I have got to know how the process of learning a language works, and how difficult or frustrating it sometimes can be. Luckily I know various tricks to overcome those barriers! I have experience teaching Spanish, German and English. I love to be able to help someone improve their skills in a language!

I was teaching imaginary students when I was about 5 years old - tea parties were not really my thing ;) Now, it's been more than 10 years of teaching experience with real students in Germany, Spain and France, kids, teenagers and adults, online and offline. When I teach, the main goal is to make the student speak, but we also practise listening and reading comprehension as well as writing. The tools we use in online lessons are engaging photos, videos, cartoons, audio files, titles, texts... I can claim to be a creative teacher :)

Friends that I teach German always tell me that I was a huge help for them. I am a really patient and passionate teacher. My biggest aim will be that you speak German as perfect as possible. I pay a lot of attention to mistakes and pronunciation. I speak German very slowly compared to other German natives so that you won't have any trouble understanding me. Since I haven't study German officially I might not be a grammar expert but I can ensure you totally that I am very good in doing research and preparing sources for you. I know exactly where to look these kind of things up when I am getting asked questions about grammar and I was told that I explain very very well and easy.
